That book is OK, but is very basic and doesn’t contain a lot of the theory that is needed to understand the “why” part of the tools. I have been reading it and it explains the concepts very well. Please take a minute to read through the new Wiki page.

I will be downloading the data when I get home. It is good for button pushing but not great for understanding. In chapter 12, learning how to digitize features, the online imagery that the book wants to use has been updated and it no longer contains one of the playgrounds that the book wants to digitize.
